At the Kansas Hereford Women's annual meeting this past weekend, Miss Monica Towns and I, Bridget Beran, were named as the Kansas Hereford Princess and Kansas Hereford Queen, respectively. We both served throughout the last year. Unfortunately, Monica was unable to attend the meetings. I gave a report both on Monica and I's activities throughout the year during the KHW's meeting and a report on junior activities during the Kansas Hereford Association meeting.
After the meeting, I was able to spend some quality time with some of my favorite little girls! Miss Tava, Miss Danica and Miss Jayln joined me in what they referred to as "Future Queens' Court." They truly are my favorite part of my job as Kansas Hereford Queen!
I look forward to representing Kansas, our people, Hereford cattle, and the beef industry that I hold so dear during this next year. I can't wait to spend it with all of you! It's going to be a great year!Bridget Beran
