Last
Friday was certainly an exciting day! I not only travelled to Sandhill Farms in
Trousdale, Kansas for their annual production sale, I also found out that I received
two new scholarships from the A. Q. Miller School of Journalism and Mass
Communications at Kansas State University! It was a very exciting start to the weekend,
which also included my 18th birthday on Saturday!
The
sale, of course, was a big part of my weekend. It was a great pleasure getting
to see the wonderful Schultz family and their fantastic Hereford cattle. Our
families were stalled near each other for years in Denver for NWSS and we’ve
become great friends!
As
usual, the sale went off incredibly well and Dad and I had a great time. And of
course, we got to see lots of other great Hereford breeders! Congratulations to
